Scarf - No brand (I bought it from a cruise to Stockholm)

Hello Again!

It's been quite a long time since I wrote last time. The weeks and months have past and the summer has already turned into autumn. I have been on holiday late August and at the beginning of September. Our family took the vacations in Greece and in Lapland in Finland. In both places we had such a fun time. The best about both trips were having the quality time with the family, good food and totally getaway from normal routines.

Here is a few pictures from our holiday in Greece, Kos Island. I'll write later more on our road trip in Lapland.

So happy on holiday :).

On vierähtänyt aika paljon aikaa siitä, kun viimeksi kirjoitin. Viikot ja kuukaudet ovat hujahtaneet ohi ja kesäkin on ehtinyt vaihtua syksyksi. Vietin vielä viimeiset kesälomaviikot elokuun lopulta syyskuun alkuun. Olimme perheeni kanssa Kreikassa ja Lapissa. Molemmat reissut olivat oikein onnistuneet. Parasta molemmissa reissuissa oli perheen kanssa yhdessäolo, hyvä ruoka ja totaalinen irtiotto arjesta.

Ohessa oli muutamia otoksia Kreikan lomareissusta. Kirjoittelen meidän karavaanarireissusta Lappiin myöhemmin.

Cherry Dress

It's already at the end of July. I celebrated today my goddaughter's sixth year birthdays. Before the party I had a bit of a crisis what to wear. Then I luckily remembered I just bought a new secondhand dress from my friend. I paired the dress with black tights and Ecco sandals. The problem was solved.

The dress is black and has a big cherry in the backside. I have to find the right pair of bras for the next time.  Today I wore a black bra top. It was all right but the beautiful backside didn't get the right justice with the top bra.

Heinäkuu on jo loppumaisillaan. Juhlin tänään kummityttöni 6-vuotis synttäreitä. Ennen juhliin lähtöä, minulla oli jälleen pienoinen vaatekriisi. Tuttu ongelma nosti päätään eli mitä laittaa juhliin päälle. Sitten onnekseni muistin hetki sitten ystävän kirpparilta ostetun mekon. Mekon pariksi laitoin vielä musta legginsit ja Ecco merkin sandaalit. Ongelma oli ratkaistu. 

Mekko on musta ja siinä on selkäpuolella on iso kirsikan kuva. Täytyy seuraavaa kertaa varten hankkia sopivammat liivit. Tällä kertaa käytin mustaa toppia mekon alla ja kyllähän se oli ihan hyvä. Kaunis selkä osa ei vaan päässyt täysin oikeuksiin, kun alla olivat ei niin täydelliset liivit. Ensi kerralla sitten.

Welcome July

It's already July. The months seem to pass by fast. 

Today I will write shortly about a few interior design findings which I found from a flea market. I found a nice lantern and two paper decorations. I think the new lantern is nice in the balcony, when the evenings will get dark in Finland in August. 

The white paper decorations look nice in the corner of our dining room. I think they look good together with the black and white curtains.

On jo heinäkuu. Kuukaudet tuntuvat kuluvan vauhdilla. Kirjoitan tänään lyhyesti muutamista sisustuslöydöistä, jotka löysin kirpparilta tässä hiljattain. löysin ihanan kynttilälyhdyn ja kaksi paperi pallokoristetta. Kynttilälyhty on varmasti kiva parvekkeella pimenevissä elokuun illoissa. 

Valkoiset paperi pallokoristeet sopivat mielestäni hyvin ruokailutilan nurkkaan. Ne sopivat hyvin musta-valkoisten verhojen kanssa.

Midsummer In Saimaa

Meidän perhe vietti juhannuksen mökin sijaan poikkeuksellisesti kylpylässä. Vaihtelu virkisti ja meillä oli oikein onnistunut juhannus Holiday Club Saimaalla. Kahdessa päivässä ehti tehdä ja nähdä paljon sekä myös rentoutua.

Juhannuksen söimme herkullista (mutta ei ehkä niinkään terveellistä) ruokaa, uimme paljon ja vierailimme Imatralla, jossa koimme upeat Imatrankosken maisemat. Imatran vierailusta kirjoitan oman postauksen, sillä otin paljon kuvia.

Our family spent our Midsummer in a spa instead of summer cottage. We had truly a nice Midsummer weekend in Holiday Club Saimaa. We saw and experienced a lot in two days. We had also time to relax. 

We ate delicious (but maybe not so healthy) food, swam a lot and visited the town called Imatra where we had a beautiful view over Imatrankoski. I will write another post from the visit because I took a lot of photos.
